One God, Many Paths #ThinkingAloud #MondayMusings

#ThinkingAloud
What I am writing are not well-formed thoughts. These are things I wonder about, I ponder over, I believe I believe in, and yet I don't know...

How do you believe in the concept of One God and not believe in multiple paths?

Such varied people, so many varied thoughts...

I like poetry. Most people I know can either not understand it, and some can't stand it at all.

I have issues with watching or reading horror stuff. It makes me restless. I think it would make everyone restless. The point is it is not that I am scared, though I am at times, momentarily. It is that I choose not to feel the restlessness, and thus no to the horror genre.

So different tastes in books, tv programmes, food, and everything else.

So why not different preferences in the path to reach the One?

What works for me may not work for you?

Why do some of us think that there is only one right way?

Stick to the path you choose, yes. Believe that it is the only path, no.

What do you think? Do tell me in the comments below.

  1. I can completely identify with you. I'm not a reader of horror books nor do I watch such movies. Even sci-fi does nothing for me, Nimi. My husband on the other hand, just doesn't get poetry! To each their own. We must not put labels of 'good' or 'bad' on interests and passions.

  2. Loved the last line...and yes I too do not prefer Horror because it causes restlessness and generate negative vibes.

  4. Hi Nimi. Totally agree. I think each of our personal journeys are different though in the end we all want that sense of wholeness and peace and security. We all want to know why we are here and what our purpose is..

  5. totally agree... its ok to have different concepts as long as you dont harm anyone. And especially if the goal remains the same at the end.
